Media City Qatar hosted its annual internal initiative, “Engage Day 2025”, bringing together employees, board members, and VIP government representatives under the theme Together, We Create. The event, held at The Raffles Doha’s Auditorium and Grand Majlis, highlighted collaboration, culture, and transparency while celebrating the company’s achievements throughout the year.
The theatre-style program featured speeches from H.E. Sheikh Dr. Abdulla bin Ali Al Thani, Chairman of Media City Qatar, and Eng. Jassim Mohamed Al Khori, CEO of Media City Qatar. Both leaders reflected on the organization’s growth in 2025 and shared insights on the vision that will guide its next chapter.
A special highlight of the event was a keynote session, Beyond the Spotlight: How Teamwork Shapes Media Success, led by award-winning CNN International Correspondent Jomana Karadsheh, who brought an external perspective on creativity and leadership in today’s media landscape.
The day also included a reflection on Media City Qatar’s past achievements, setting the tone for interactive team-building exercises designed to inspire creativity, strengthen collaboration, and enhance leadership across the organization. An awards segment recognized outstanding contributions, including the Five Years of Service award presented to long-standing employees.
Through this initiative, Media City Qatar reinforced its commitment to cultivating a culture of openness, teamwork, and accountability. The outcomes of the event reflect its goals: enhancing collaboration, improving creativity, strengthening leadership and accountability, increasing productivity, and retaining talent, ultimately building the next together.
