Media City Qatar (MCQ), is a state-of-the-art media hub, designed to support businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs with a focus on digital media, technology, communications, innovations, research and development.
Media City Qatar was established by Decree No. (13) on 30 May 2019 as a cluster regulator, developer, and investor, with the aim of driving growth in the media industry and contributing to Qatar’s economic diversification.
Media City Qatar is currently located in Qatar’s business district of West Bay and will soon move to Msheireb Downtown Doha—a premier hub for business and culture, strategically positioned in the heart of Qatar’s capital. This new location will host local, regional, and international media networks, technology companies, as well as research, innovation, and training institutions.
Media City Qatar's official working hours are from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday. These hours are designed to provide optimal support and services to our partners and clients.
