Media City Qatar participated in the 21st edition of Doha Forum, the region's premier platform for global dialogue, diplomacy, and promoting action-driven solutions, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel over 10-11 December 2023.
Opened by H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and addressed by an array of world leaders including H.E. United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, the forum provided thought-provoking discussions on a range of pressing issues and made news headlines around the world with the contributions of the distinguished guests and speakers.
MCQ team members were on hand at our centrally located booth to facilitate conversations about the evolving media landscape, economic diversification in the Middle East, and the crucial role media plays in building networks and connectivity at a time when the truth is often contested and objective narratives are needed more than ever. "The Forum truly illuminated the central role Qatar has in bringing people together to shape a more resilient and cooperative future which aims for prosperity and peace for all," said Sheikh Ali bin Abdulla bin Khalifa Al-Thani, CEO of MCQ. "We were delighted to welcome so many participants to our booth and support Doha Forum at this critical moment for our region and the world."
