Media City Qatar participated as a strategic partner in the Innovation by Design Summit 2025, powered by Doha Design District, underscoring its role as a catalyst for growth, creativity, and innovation in the media sector. Through panels and workshops, Media City Qatar showcased its vision to empower content creators, drive innovation, and strengthen Qatar’s position as a hub for next-generation media and content industries.
The summit, organized by Msheireb Properties in collaboration with Fast Company Middle East, took place on 24 September at the Mandarin Oriental Doha in Msheireb Downtown Doha. Returning to Doha after its successful 2024 debut, it convened leading regional and international voices under the theme “Inspiring the Future of Design.” The program featured 15 panels and sessions exploring topics including AI infrastructure, product innovation, immersive media, sustainable architecture, and the future of the creator economy.
As part of its participation, Thair Khaled Al Anani, Director of Business Development at Media City Qatar, represented the organization on the panel “Storytelling That Works: Designing for Impact in a Distracted World.” The session featured perspectives from leading content creators and entrepreneurs Yusra Youssif, Amy Roko, and Hadeel Marei, and highlighted the evolving role of media in shaping opportunities for creators, businesses, and audiences alike.
Media City Qatar also sponsored the workshop called “No Brief. No Rules. Just the Future of Creator Collaboration,” which brough together creators, marketers, and industry leaders to explore new models of co-creation and shared vision. The initiative reinforced Media City Qatar’s role in fostering collaboration and capacity building across the creative industries.
By engaging in the summit, Media City Qatar highlighted its role in shaping the future of media and creativity. With over 250 licensed companies, it continues to expand opportunities for innovation and collaboration, delivering on its promise of being the place Where Next is Made.
