Media City Qatar Partners with Leadership Innovation Forum 2024 as a Media Partner

Media City Qatar was proud to be the Media Partner for the inaugural Leadership Innovation Forum 2024 (LIF), which took place on October 30, 2024, at the St. Regis Doha. Media City Qatar marks its debut participation at MIPCOM 2024, the world’s largest entertainment content market, held from October 21-24 in Cannes, France. This global event provides an opportunity for Qatar’s media hub leaders to engage with key international players, foster partnerships, and explore the latest industry trends.

During the event, Media City Qatar joins Qatar Media Corporation at an impressive booth to represent the country and engage with leading content creators and showcase the exciting opportunities for strategic partnerships in content creation and production across film, television, and digital media in Qatar. The focus is on highlighting Qatar's growing infrastructure and support for creative industries, offering a platform for collaboration and innovation.

Media City Qatar announced the dates of the highly anticipated 5th edition of the “Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg” that will take place from 20-22 May 2025. The event will gather global business and government leaders, academics, and entrepreneurs to engage in discussions on the world’s biggest challenges and emerging trends shaping geopolitics, business, the economy, and technology in Qatar, the Gulf region, and beyond.

Media City Qatar (MCQ) participated in the Al Jazeera Documentary (AJD) Industry Days event, held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from September 14-16, 2024. Organized by Al Jazeera Balkans in cooperation with Al Jazeera Media Network (AJMN), MCQ was a key partner at the event, promoting Qatar as a hub for content creation.

The event was dedicated to broadening the global presence of documentaries, encouraging international co-productions, and linking key decision-makers with promising projects. MCQ was represented by Thair Khaled Al Anani, Director of Business Development, and Tevfik Ergun, Strategy & Business Planning Manager, along with a senior delegation who actively participated in discussions throughout the event.
