As part of its ongoing efforts to nurture the next generation of media professionals, Media City Qatar is supporting an international internship program that connects students from Qatar with Euronews, one of Europe’s leading news organizations and a licensed company within Media City Qatar.
Three students from Northwestern University in Qatar have joined the Euronews team at its headquarters in Brussels. The internship offers hands-on newsroom experience, enabling students to work alongside international journalists, contribute to editorial workflows, and gain exposure to the fast-paced world of global news production.
The initiative reflects Media City Qatar’s commitment to building practical, future-ready pathways for young talent in the country. By enabling direct engagement with leading media institutions, Media City Qatar helps expand students’ professional horizons and prepares them to thrive in a global media environment.
This internship builds on the ongoing collaboration between Media City Qatar and Euronews, which previously included the Euronews Business Media Training held in October 2024. That program provided Qatar University students with immersive, hands-on experience in journalism, media production, and broadcasting. Through initiatives like these, Media City Qatar continues to contribute to the development of a knowledge-based economy by creating opportunities that connect education with industry.
