Media City Qatar has partnered with the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) to support coverage for three major FIFA tournaments taking place in Qatar in 2025: the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 (3–27 November), the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 (1–18 December), and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2025 (10-17 December).
As part of this partnership, Media City Qatar will hold exclusive naming rights for the Main Media Center at the Qatar National Convention Centre and the Broadcasting Hub at Souq Waqif. These facilities will provide a distinctive backdrop for global media operations and underscore Media City Qatar’s central role in facilitating tournament coverage. Together, they will serve as the heart of the tournaments’ global broadcast, enabling thousands of journalists, broadcasters, and digital teams to deliver the action from Qatar to audiences around the world.
Throughout the tournament, Media City Qatar’s visibility will extend across key venues and broadcast touchpoints, from main entrances and media facilities to digital platforms and live coverage. Its branding will appear alongside official elements such as the emblem, trophy, and mascot.
This initiative highlights Media City Qatar’s commitment to advancing sports media and strengthening the country’s position as a hub for world-class sports coverage. It also supports the ambitions of Qatar National Vision 2030 by promoting innovation and contributing to economic diversification.
That commitment is reflected in Media City Qatar’s strong track record of supporting major sporting events and broadcasting initiatives. Earlier this year, it played a pivotal role as the official media partner in amplifying the reach of ONE 171: Qatar, a landmark martial arts event, and served as strategic partner for Match for Hope 2025, a charity football match that raised funds to provide education for out-of-school children. With more than 300 licensed partners in its ecosystem, Media City Qatar continues to foster innovation, collaboration, and excellence across the media industry.
