Media City Qatar welcomed a group of leading regional influencers to its headquarters in Msheireb Downtown Doha to learn more about Qatar’s rapidly developing media sector and the opportunities available for content creators and media businesses.
During the visit, the group learned about Media City Qatar’s role in supporting media growth and innovation. Guests engaged in discussions on the benefits available to media companies and creators including 100 percent foreign ownership, streamlined licensing, strategic partnerships, and access to a growing ecosystem of more than 300 licensed companies across the media and creative industries. They also toured Media City Qatar’s facilities and learned about the range of support available for content development and production.
Following the engagement, the influencers joined for a dinner hosted by Media City Qatar and co-hosted by Al Jazeera 360. The gathering brought together around 80 attendees along with Media City Qatar’s representatives, offering a valuable platform for exchange and future collaboration.
Through initiatives like this, Media City Qatar is committed to supporting Qatar’s economic diversification and nurturing a vibrant media ecosystem in the country, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
